Feedback

Dear Factory Pro,

I would like to congratulate you on your excellent work.

My name is Stavros and I own the Yamaha official dealership in a Greek town, Xanthi.

I would like to ask you if the Vstacks with part number RA-VEL-Y77-8989, are compatible with the new Yamaha FZ1 model 2006. I would also like to know when are going to be ready for sale the new VStacks for the YZF-R6 model 2006.

I prepared a YZF-R1 2005 for circuit use only and the modifications I made on it were, full titanium Termignoni exhaust, gasket head by Y.E.C., STD Vstacks and a power commander USBIII. I dynoed the R1 and the hp diagram was not satisfactory at all, to many "ups and downs", not linear. After that I changed the STD Vstacks with one of yours and the difference was PHENOMENAL.
The entire hp diagram was completely linear and I gained
6hp at the top end of the R1.

I once again I would like to thank you for the excellent job.

With Regards Stavros Andreadis, Greece.

I've recently added a set of your Factory Pro Velocity Stacks to my 04 r1 and wow. Following the advice of your website, I also added a BMC race filter. I'm not sure what the outcome is on the dyno because I'm waiting to get a exhaust first. But as of right now, my bikes power kicks in with more power at a much lower rpm and continues almost to the redline. It wheelies in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and gets very light on the front end in 4th. On a dealership dynojet dyno my bike put out consistent 150's, I can't wait to have it redone. Also with the information on your website, I have been introduced to a different type of dyno machine.  No more Dynojet for me. There is a shop in my city (Richmond, VA) that has an EC997 dyno machine w/ an eddy brake. I will keep you posted with the results. I might just get it dynoed to see if the power I feel is real or is it all in my mind.

thanks for the info

I just put the Factory Pro v-stacks on my 01/R1 and they are awesome. Wish I had done it years ago.

O-YES
AS I HAD 150BHP AT THE BACK WHEEL BEFORE THE STACKS IT WAS GOOD. 1ST 2ND 3RD GEAR WHEELIES.
NOW WITH THE STACKS ON THERE IS EVEN MORE MID RANGE. FROM AROUND 7 GRAND ISH DON'T KNOW FOR SHORE COS THE ****** JUST WANTS TO GO AIRBORNE IN FIRST 4 GEARS. IT JUST PULLS AND PULLS AND PULLS ALL THE WAY TO THE RED LINE. DON'T KNOW IF ITS GIVEN ME ANYMORE TOP END HP WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE DYNO FOR THAT ONE I THINK.
ANYONE WITH A R1 NEEDS SOME OF THESE. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
THANKS
STEVE.

What is it?
There's something that makes the susceptible ones of us to instinctually react to the sound of an engine at high rpm, running as perfectly as possible - on each and every cylinder -
It's that sound like Roger described as - "The sound of "rippin' sheets" going down a straight."

Something that makes a "not just good, but perfectly tuned" race engine sound that causes the hair on the back of your arms to rise up.......

First step it getting the intake tract lengths correct....... Then, intake cam set perfectly for that engine, then a matching exhaust for the cam settings, getting the ignition timing perfect at every rpm, eliminating ignition scatter, then, finally, providing the correct amount of fuel on each cylinder, at each rpm point...

That eliminates, except by luck, "Tuning to an A/F Ratio" as the final answer to tuning...
Tune to BEST POWER.
True HP

It's not that easy...... 98% of engines at a racetrack won't even do that.
Kudos to the tuners who can consistently pull that off!
The are the stars in the industry.

Take the first step with as set of these power adding

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
