"Long Boy"
Finger and screwdriver adjustable extended Fuel Screw assembly

Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree"  screwdriver to fine adjust your fuel screw for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screw to adjust fuel screw for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.

Make your life easier.

Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screw, old o-ring, old washer and old spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so take a light and make sure it's really out  (or you can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the old parts for "spares".

Screw assembly kit comes with 3:
 new extended screws
 new springs
 new washers
 new o-rings

Make your Triumph shift better than it ever did - even when new -

Trophy 900

The 98 and later Triumphs benefited from the fitment of Keihin CV carbs, mostly eliminating the troublesome needle jet wear that the earlier bikes tended to have. Final hp figures seem to indicate similar hp to most earlier, unrestricted bikes.

Best (only?) "drop-in" kit available. Nice even power improvement. Not really fussy about main jet selection (other than the bike loses 1 hp on either side of the perfect, best main jet). Needle height is pretty cut and dried, with little fiddling required from what we've seen and heard.
Nice kit and easy to install - a genuine pleasure to work on a bike that is easy to tune!
As usual, boosts power a bit at full throttle, improves throttle response and wheelie ability. Definitely pulls harder out of 2nd and 3rd gear corners. Gets rid of that pesky flat spot at low rpm, when properly setup.
For 900's with Keihin carburetors.

FEEDBACK

Gentlemen:

Super!!!!!

2001 Triumph Legend 885 cc.
K&N replacement filter (not pods). Drilled out stock mufflers. Stock mains 98.

Running lean.  5000 RPM 80 mph top speed.

Tried 105 mains. Got top end back, but heavy stuttering to get there at 3/4 throttle up, and still not feeling quite right.

Put 102's in, perfect!!!!
That's replacing pilot jet and setting floats at 17.5mm  and 2 down on needles, all per kit instructions.

Pulls hard from stop to redline. Absolutely no blips throughout full range.

Thanks. Well worth price, and your suggested set up was correct. (I just thought it wise to try 105's, but too much.)

Hey Temple, just installed the custom TD09 jet kit and Long Boy fuel screws for the 95 Triumph Trident. Initial results right out of the box are outstanding. I will be doing the fine tuning when the slip-ons arrive. I'll be sure and send you the final set-up. Thanks for all your help.

Notes:
Report of at least one 2002 T'Bird T300 (not Sport), that had stock 98 main jets, ended up using a 90 main jet when finally tuned. Testing between stock and K&N filter indicated that the airbox, with either filter installed, flowed essentially identically.  Tested at Motolab, Redwood City, CA.

Hi guys, as promised here is the jetting I used on the Keihin carb swapped 95 Triumph Trident with K&N pod filters.

Bike: 1995 Triumph Trident 900
Carbs: 36mm Keihin swap
Main Jet: 135
Pilot Jet: 40
Fuel Screws: 2.5 turns out (Long Boys)
Needle Clip: Second position from top
Air Filters: 3 K&N Pod Filters
Exhaust: Delkevic Slip-ons

We are at 360ft. above sea level in the deep south so it's hot and humid. The bike runs good and is very smooth from idle to redline. It might take a little more fuel, but it compares nicely to a mostly stock 97 Trident 900 that is a 49-state 98hp model. That bike will be getting a Factory Pro jet kit and pod filters this winter.

I also just installed a set of Factory Pro nickel plated emulsion tubes in my personal 93 GSX1100g. Throttle response is back and so my is mileage. Thanks again for all the help and info especially from Temple when I called. He was incredibly helpful in getting me in the ballpark on the jetting since the carbs were from a different year and model Triumph.

Best Regards

Tom Pate

Hi Marc,

I have installed the kit. The Sprint now screams ( as loud as a Sprint can anyway).

Thanks for making the kit. You may want to contact Jack Lilley (http://www.jacklilley.com/cart/index.htmin) the UK. They were not aware that you made a jet kit for the Triumph's. Also, some of your distributors (Tucker-Rocky) did not list the kits for the Triumphs.

Thanks again,
Jeff Greene

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
