"Long Boy"

Finger and screwdriver adjustable extended Fuel Screw Kit

Now with
Straight knurling for better grip
Screwdriver slot to use "if you want to"
Indexing flat to keep track of turns
Smaller head and "Traction groove" for lighter weight and better grip

Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree"  screwdriver to fine adjust your fuel screw for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's "finger adjustable" fuel screw to adjust fuel screw for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.

Make your life easier.

Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screw, old o-ring, old washer and old spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so, take a light and make sure it's really out if it didn't come out with the screw (or you can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the old parts for "spares".

F-Pro Fuel Screw assembly comes with:
2 Long Boy extended fuel screws
 2 new o-rings
2 new washers
2 new springs

TL-float height gauge

2.

The only way to accurately measure float heights. Works on nearly every carburetor.

By adjusting the float height, you can change the fuel level and that's how you tune the lowend / cruise and full throttle / lowend throttle  -

This is what I use.

Hi Mick,

Your best was well and truly good enough.

The DR650 carby kit arrived today and I have delivered bike and kit to my mechanic this afternoon.
Thanks for the prompt and efficient service.

Being a decrepit old fossil, I'm 56, I remember you as a racer and team owner from Errrrrr, a FEW years ago, when I was mis spending my youth.

Just seems like yesterday really! I'm off to Tassie to annoy my elder sibling in a few weeks and then I'm going to the Superbikes at PI on the way home. I'm riding the mighty DR and may even come and annoy you

as well after the Superbikes. What's that? You'll be away then! I rang Dunlop many years ago for some technical advice and Dennis Neil answered the phone. Quite an interesting conversation especially the story

about his career ending accident. Was it you who "invented" the first sort of GSXR 750 Suzuki by marrying a 750 air cooled Suzuki engine with a frame from a 400cc 4cylinder Suzuki?. Robbie Phyllis rode it I think.

The flamin' early onset Alzheimer's prevents me from recalling the exact details of these important historical matters.

Anyway thanks again,

Stay safe, Steve Manning

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
