Fewer missed shifts Perfect for cars with heavy shift linkages Now that you've replaced the 2nd gear, it's mate and it's shift fork - Install this kit to make 2nd gear stay alive for years. Oh - nicer shifting, too./font> IIncludes: Factory Pro Microbearing Detent Arm, Heavy duty detent spring and gasket. Makes shifting more positive at the expense of slightly stiffer shift lever action. The stronger detent spring rotates the shift drum faster, so the gears are more likely to engage under quick shift conditions. The Microbearing eliminates much friction, allowing the shift drum to rotate quicker for fewer missed shifts. Especially helpful in decreasing the 2nd gear and shift fork wear that bikes with large, heavy transmission gears are so well known for.

As I recall - We ran over 100 AMA and WERA bikes, we gained between 2% to 3% power. The least I saw was 1% (JR's super loose built race engine) and the most I ever saw was 4% (on a super tight street built engine). The other 98 bikes picked up 2% to 3% power - with most 2% and 2.5% Lasts 2 and up to 3 oil changes (tapering off in effect). Helps highway mileage. Number Eight |

Needle Jet wear (sometimes called "worn emulsion tubes) |
Inspect your brass needle jets for wear when you
take out the needles. If the needle jets have oval wear pattern, they
will allow excess fuel to pass by the needle causing excess low speed

| The extension of the laboratory
for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed
in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940).
He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after
the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar
to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal
