If you look at the fuel curve (lower red and blue lines), you can see that
hp increased when the fueling became more complimentary to the
requirements of the engine. The Red power trace was the improvement gained
in an evening before an AMA National race. This bike had previously spent
unlimited time on a dj dyno (blue trace) and as far as they could tell,
they had everything as good as it could get according dj's best
information provided.
Wrong.
The EC997 Low Inertia Dyno allowed
those tuners to extract more True HP from
a "best jetted" dj bike.
Did stickers appear on the bike? Noooo!
Did we work out sponsorship deal? Noooo!
I guess that it's "live and learn" for us and pay cash in
advance for them! |
